10月25日至31日，2022年“菲普莱杯”全国U16田径锦标赛在湖北省黄石市举行。经过激烈角逐，贵州省体育运动学校15岁小将赵翀翱，在U16组3000米比赛中力挫强手，勇夺冠军。
据了解，此次比赛共有来自国内25支代表队、311名该年龄段运动员参赛，比赛共设径赛12项，田赛9项，以及为青少年选手特设的小全能项目。贵州省体育运动学校选拔了6名运动员参加比赛，共斩获1金1铜和10个录取名次的好成绩。
近年来，省体育运动学校在省体育局领导下，坚持走好“创新发展之路、体教融合之路、特色办学之路”，通过提高选材层次、强化体能训练、加强科技助训、紧抓以赛促训等方式，认真履行高水平体育后备人才培养职责，各运动项目成绩均取得突破性进步。
